ワン（オフ）ルームは、現代の「一点もの」プロダクトの提案である。パーソナル・ファブリケーション時代の到来に合わせ、大量生産品では欠陥とされるような要素をその製品のもつ一回性ととらえ直し、積極的にデザインに取り込んでいく。

- ONE(OFF)SHADE

3Dプリンターでサポート（支持材）をともにプリントしないと溶けたプラスチックの糸が垂れてしまう性質を利用し、予測不可能なパターンを得るランプシェード。

- ONE(OFF)CURTAIN

レーザーカッターでナイロン生地を細かく切り抜いたカーテン。加工の際に生地にしわをつけて置いたり、レーザーの焦点距離から遠ざけたりすることで、シンプルなドット柄にオリジナルの歪みをもたせることができる。

- ONE(OFF)WALL

合板という工業製品の持つノイズである「節目」に着目した、新たな内装材の提案。合板の表面を撮影し、節目の位置を取り込む。節目の位置を必ずカバーするようにランダムに円形の穴を配置し、ShopBotで切り抜いていく。合板のスムーズな面だけが残り、点在する穴は新たなDIYのきっかけになっていく。

One(Off)Room is a proposal for a modern "one-of-a-kind" product. With the advent of the era of personal manufacturing, products that were considered flawed in mass production became unique and were actively incorporated into the design.

- ONE(OFF)SHADE

During the printing process, the unsolid plastic components will fall apart and get filamentous if not printing the supporting structure at the same time, this is how we get the unpredictable form of the lampshade.

- ONE(OFF)CURTAIN

This is a nylon curtain made by laser cutting. By stacking the materials and moving them away from the laser's focal point during processing, will be able to create an original distortion of a simple dot pattern.

- ONE(OFF)WALL

This is a proposal for a new interior material, focusing on the "wooden joints" which are similar to the noise possessed by industrial plywood. The location of ”wooden knots” is captured by taking pictures of the plywood surface. Each knot is covered with a circle in random sizes and punched with ShopBot. Therefore we can get a clear surface that all the knots have been replaced by small holes which can be a trigger for other DIY approaches.
