吉村靖孝研究室では、「半動産建築研究」と称し、モバイルハウスやコンテナ建築など土地への定着の度合いが弱い建築や、シェアハウス等の所有の感覚が薄い建築について研究しています。

その中でも、車輪が付いた動く家や軽トラックの荷台に載る小さな家などのモバイルハウスは、日本でも2010年頃から高い関心を集めています。これらは、人々のライフスタイルや所有の感覚の変化など社会的な状況を反映し、住宅の新しいあり方を示唆しているとも考えられます。

今回は、構造材としてポリカ波板を用いた軽量なモバイルハウス《CROSS WAVE HUT》を展示し、モバイルハウスの持つ可能性について考える場を提供します。

We called our studies as “semi-movable architecture” in Yasutaka Yoshimura Laboratory, which studies architecture such as mobile house/container architecture that has less affiliations to the land, and buildings that lack a sense of ownership such as shared houses.

Among the rest, mobile homes such as wheeled mobile homes and light truck houses have attracted much public attention in Japan since 2010s. These may reflect social conditions such as changes in people’s lifestyles and sense of ownership, and suggesting new approach of residential housing.

This time, we will exhibit a lightweight mobile house named "CROSS WAVE HUT" that uses corrugated polycarbonate sheet as structural material, providing a ground to think about the possibilities of the portability of mobile house.
